Since 1935 - The Circular Vamp Oxford
Low on slip, high on style. Beloved by JFK, Mr. Rogers alike, the Circular Vamp Oxford (CVO) was created after our founder Paul Sperry slipped off his boat but his dog, whose paws were naturally non-slip, didn't. Cutting patterned grooves into blank rubber shoe soles, Sperry developed the world's first non-slip boat shoe. It was so good; it became the official shoe of the US Navy.
A versatile classic, always.
Stake your own claim on one of the style's most enduring staples.
